Why MySilo
Old memories. New utility.
Avalanche NFTs were collected, traded and used to build communities. Years later, many of those NFTs are still sitting in wallets, with history and community attached, but fewer reasons to interact with them.
The mint was not the end. MySilo gives supported NFTs something new to do, without asking the original collection team to rebuild an entire ecosystem.
Holders can rediscover NFTs they already own, activate eligible NFTs and connect them to a vault-backed reward layer. Ownership never leaves the wallet.
MySilo brings supported NFTs, collection information, activation status, Reward Rounds and rewards into one clearer place.
The Solution
MySilo supports eligible NFT collections directly
Each Supported Collection can have a Collection Hub, activation rules where required, a vault model, Reward Round history, reward tracking, holder visibility, marketplace links where available and official links where known.
If the collection team later works with MySilo, verified team updates and additional project-level features can be added on top.
- 1MySilo supports an eligible NFT collection.
- 2Holders connect their wallet.
- 3MySilo detects supported NFTs.
- 4Eligible NFTs can be activated where required.
- 5Activated NFTs can participate in vault-backed rewards when available.
- 6Rewards and history are tracked through Reward Rounds.
- 7The NFT stays in the holder's wallet.
Supported Collections
Collections supported by MySilo
MySilo supports eligible Avalanche NFT collections directly, so holders can use the MySilo features available to those collections.
What a Supported Collection is
A Supported Collection is an NFT collection that MySilo recognises and supports through the platform, with features such as a Collection Hub, activation where required and reward tracking.
No application needed from the team
MySilo can support eligible NFT collections directly. The collection creator or team does not need to work with MySilo before holders can participate.
Verified collection teams
If the collection team later works with MySilo, the Collection Hub may show a verified team indicator and unlock additional project-level features.
Marketplace links, not a marketplace
MySilo is not an NFT marketplace. Supported collections may show links such as View on Joepegs or View on Salvor where the collection is actually available.
How collections are selected
MySilo reviews collections before adding support. New supported collections may be added gradually so each one can receive visibility, setup and clear communication. Reviews may consider contract validity, launch year, historical relevance, supply, holder count, community demand, marketplace availability and suitability for an existing vault.
Request a Collection
Holders will be able to request or vote for collections they would like MySilo to support. Requests do not guarantee inclusion. MySilo still reviews every collection.
Request a CollectionSupport by MySilo does not automatically mean the collection creator or team is affiliated with, partnered with, or endorsing MySilo.
Avalanche Legacy Vaults
Avalanche NFTs. A New Chapter for Each Generation.
A Legacy Vault brings selected Avalanche NFT collections from the same generation together in a Shared Vault, giving holders a new way to use NFTs they may have owned for years. Opening one should feel a little like opening a time capsule.
Sharing a vault does not mean collections are mixed without accounting. MySilo records each collection's attribution inside the Shared Vault so rewards can be attributed appropriately, and each collection keeps its own Collection Hub, activation history and Reward Round history.
We are starting with the Classes of 2021 and 2022. Class of 2023 is coming next. More generations will follow.

MySilo Memory Lane
A look back at the collections, communities and moments that shaped different generations of Avalanche NFTs. We are not only remembering them. MySilo gives supported NFTs something new to do.
History stays with the Collection Hub
A collection could take part in a 2022 Legacy Vault for Reward Rounds 1 to 20 and later move to its own Dedicated Collection Vault. Its Collection Hub keeps the full historical reward record instead of restarting from zero.
Legacy Vaults are the launch story, not the limit of MySilo. Newer collections and new NFT projects can use Shared Vaults or a Dedicated Collection Vault instead.
Vault Models
Vaults built around real connections
Some supported collections take part in a Shared Vault, and others use a Dedicated Collection Vault. Neither structure is better they suit different situations.
Legacy Vault
A Shared Vault grouping multiple Avalanche NFT collections from the same launch year or generation, each with its own recorded position and Collection Hub.
Creator Vault
A Shared Vault for multiple collections created by the same creator, artist or studio, so holders across those collections share one connected reward layer.
Ecosystem Vault
A Shared Vault for connected collections belonging to the same game, ecosystem or broader project, while each collection keeps its own identity.
Dedicated Collection Vault
Available from launch or later.
A vault designed specifically for one NFT collection, with its own reward, compounding and fee rules.
How a Shared Vault connects
Shared Vault
One vault-backed reward layer connecting multiple supported collections.
Shared Vaults and Dedicated Vaults are different structures for different situations. A collection can move between them if that becomes more appropriate.
Every supported collection keeps its own Collection Hub, project identity and reward history. Whether it sits inside a Shared Vault or runs a Dedicated Collection Vault. Being in a Legacy Vault does not prevent a collection from later having its own Dedicated Collection Vault, and a new collection may launch directly with one.
The MySilo Journey
Own a supported NFT. Activate it. Participate in rewards.
A simple path for holders, with room for a collection's vault structure to change over time without losing its history.
Supported
MySilo supports the collection
MySilo reviews and supports eligible NFT collections directly. The collection team does not need to join first.
Activate
Activate eligible NFTs
Holders activate eligible NFTs where required. Activation records the NFT's MySilo status and keeps the NFT in the holder's wallet.
Participate
Participate in Reward Rounds
Reward Rounds are recorded per collection, so holders can follow reward history and collection activity over time.
Evolve
Vault structure can change
A collection may start in a Shared Vault and later move to a Dedicated Collection Vault if that becomes more appropriate. Its reward history carries over.
Launching a new collection?
New NFT collections do not need to begin inside a Shared Vault.
An agreed portion of the mint or launch model can fund a Dedicated Collection Vault from day one, giving the collection its own reward, compounding and fee structure from the beginning.
What MySilo Provides
Holder tools and collection tools in one place
Collection Hubs
Every Supported Collection keeps its own Collection Hub: launch year, vault type, supply, activated NFTs, Reward Round history, activation information, official links and marketplace links where available.
Holder Dashboard
Connect a wallet, see detected supported NFTs, activation status and reward activity in one place. NFTs stay in the holder's wallet.
Reward Hub
A dedicated area for holders to track rewards by collection and claim when rewards are available.
Collection Team Tools
A workspace for verified collection teams to manage official collection information, publish updates and follow collection activity.
Reward Round History
Collection-specific reward history that stays with the Collection Hub, even if the collection's vault structure changes later.
Collection Explorer
A place to compare supported collections by launch year, vault type, activated NFTs, Reward Round, recent reward activity, marketplace availability and support status.
How Rewards Are Funded
How MySilo rewards are funded
Activation funds or other approved funding sources can contribute to the vault associated with the collection. That vault may be shared with other collections, or dedicated to one.
For some supported collections, holders may need to activate their NFTs before participating in the relevant reward model. Activation does not move the NFT. Activation does not transfer ownership. The NFT stays in the holder's wallet.
Some supported collections may use a Shared Vault, such as an Avalanche Legacy Vault. In that case, several collections can participate in one vault, while MySilo records each collection's contribution and reward history separately. Rewards are then handled according to the relevant vault model and collection rules.
Flow
Existing NFT Collection
- 1Holder owns an NFT from a supported collection
- 2Holder activates the NFT where required
- 3Activation funds contribute to the vault associated with the collection
- 4Vault generates rewards
- 5The relevant vault and collection reward model is applied
- 6Eligible holders track and claim when rewards are available
Flow
New NFT Collection
- 1Collection launches with MySilo support
- 2Part of the agreed launch model funds a Shared Vault or Dedicated Collection Vault
- 3Vault generates rewards
- 4The relevant vault and collection reward model is applied
- 5Eligible holders track rewards through MySilo
- 6Eligible holders claim when rewards are available
Once the vault generates rewards, the agreed reward model determines how those rewards are allocated.
Holder Rewards
A portion of available rewards may be allocated to eligible holders.
Vault Growth
A portion may be compounded back into the vault to support long-term growth.
Project Allocation
Optional and only where appropriate for example when a verified collection team is involved or a Dedicated Vault structure requires it. It is not applied automatically.
MySilo Allocation
A portion may support MySilo operations, development and platform growth.
Rewards are variable and not guaranteed. Each vault has its own reward model, eligibility rules and reward process.

Planned Future Utility
MySilo Yield Advance (MYA)
MYA is planned future functionality intended to let eligible NFT holders access an advance backed by future vault-generated rewards, with the NFT staying in the holder's wallet. The goal is to explore reward-based repayment instead of traditional NFT liquidation models.
MYA is not available at launch. Availability, eligibility and terms are not confirmed and are not guaranteed.

FAQ
Common questions
For Collection Teams
Build With MySilo
For NFTs already out there, MySilo can add a new layer of utility. For NFTs launching tomorrow, utility can be built in from day one. Existing collections do not need to work directly with MySilo for their NFTs to be supported, and verified collection teams can work with MySilo to unlock additional functionality.
- Verify that you represent a supported collection
- Manage official collection information
- Contribute additional funding
- Discuss treasury allocation where appropriate
- Communicate with activated holders
- Explore a Dedicated Collection Vault
- Integrate MySilo into a new collection from day one
- Design mint economics that help fund a vault from launch
Verification confirms that someone represents the collection before management, treasury or official communication features are made available. This is separate from whether the NFT contract itself is supported.
Launching a new NFT collection? Part of mint proceeds could fund a Dedicated Collection Vault, so the collection launches with a vault-backed reward layer already in place. This is one possible path, not the only one.
