What is Activation?
Activation links an eligible NFT to a collection's vault-backed layer, allowing its status, rules, reward history and future claim eligibility to be tracked from MySilo.
Activate once. Linked forever.
Once an NFT is activated, the activation follows the NFT, not just the wallet. If the NFT is transferred, the activation status moves with it to the new owner.
Activation status is tied to the specific NFT token ID, not only the wallet address. This helps future buyers understand whether an NFT is already linked to a collection's vault layer.
No one-size-fits-all activation fee.
Each collection can have its own activation cost, fund split and rules. Existing collections may choose to send 100% of activation funds to the Collection Vault. New collections may split funds between the Collection Vault, project treasury and MySilo. Whatever the model, it must be shown clearly before activation opens.

New NFT Collections
New collections may allocate funds between the Collection Vault, project treasury and MySilo, depending on the model shown before activation opens.
Any split must be shown before activation opens. The community must be able to see the rules before paying.
